Real Time Gaming software (RTG) was founded in 1998.  Their earliest available slot machines had the appeal of those 3 line slot machines that you would see in Las Vegas.  These slots were 3 coin slot machines and also had multiplier symbols.  From a personal experience, RTG slot machines rivaled the very slots found at the local casinos.  The look and feel, even the the play experience would make you feel like you were sitting at the casino.

In 1999, a new player emerged into online casino software and Playtech was born.  Playtech had their work cut out for them and started studying the ways in which they could bring an enjoyable casino to online gamblers while making it fast, easy and smooth to download and operate.  It took them a couple years to confidently launch their casino software and in 2001, Playtech casinos began opening up to online gamblers.  Some of these casinos were brand new names, while others were recognized names that decided to change their software.  The Playtech slot machines were mostly 3 line slot machines seem to have a 'mechanical' feel to them.  Currently, Playtech has also implemented several new styles of slot machines including multi-payline and progressive slots.  Additionally, they have added more custom features for their gamblers such as automatic play options.
