Euro 400 000 prize pool will mean tough competition

The ubiquitous Full Tilt Poker.com, which continues to accept American action, has announced that it is to host the Dublin All-Star Challenge scheduled for November 17-19 at the Sporting Emporium in Dublin, Ireland.

With a Euro 400 000 prize pool, the competition will be tough, and online qualifiers have been running for the event since September 24, with the final weekly qualifier taking place this week at Full Tilt Poker. The winner will receive an $8 000 prize package that includes the buy-in for the Irish tournament and approximately $4 000 in spending money.

Several Team Full Tilt members are slated to play in the Dublin All-Star Challenge including Chris Ferguson, Howard Lederer, Erik Seidel and Mike Matusow.

The Challenge is part of the European Poker Masters poker tour that was launched for its first season this year. The first event of the season, the London All-Star, saw Gus Hansen claim victory and GBP 53 600.
