Prepaid cards an ideal payment solution for China's millions

Dynasty Gaming Inc., the company that has been dominating online Mahjong has made another shrewd partnership move, this one to solve the payment problems often associated with the Asian market, and especially China.

The company has announced that its regional Chinese subsidiary, 95Joy has inked an agreement with Beijing-based Junnet Union Science and Technology Limited Company covering the distribution throughout China of prepaid cards for accessing its online Mahjong game site in China.

Dynasty will make its proprietary Mahjong gaming software available during the fourth quarter of 2006 initially on the MJworldcup.com Internet site, accessible by prepaid cards that will be sold initially through approximately 7 200 Internet cafes of Junnet's 76 000 points of distribution, after the game undergoes government-required public testing during November.

Subsequent to the public testing period, Dynasty is confident that a growing stream of revenue will flow from the sale of prepaid cards. 95Joy has acquired all the necessary licenses and permits from the Government of China in order to legally operate its play-for-points site in China.

Prepaid cards, which are essentially stored-value cards, are widely used by people in China for accessing and playing various online sports and casual games that offer opportunities for winning reward points redeemable for prizes. Junnet is China's largest distributor of prepaid cards. According to Junnet, approximately 20 million people visit their points of distribution every day in China.

The MJworldcup.com Internet site has a strategic link to Dynasty Gaming's World Cup of Mahjong, which will be held in Macau in early 2007 as a joint venture with the Ho group of companies. Participants from China will only be able to compete in the World Cup of Mahjong by purchasing a prepaid card and playing the qualifying rounds online at MJworldcup.com and accumulating enough points to win a seat at the World Cup of Mahjong tournament.

"The signing of our contract with Junnet represents a major step forward in our strategy of accessing the world's largest and fastest growing Internet marketplace and creating a first-to-market footprint, using prepaid cards, for our multiplayer online Mahjong gaming product in China, where Mahjong is acknowledged as one of China's national sports," said Dynasty's Chief Executive, Albert Barbusci.

"Junnet has strong relationships with many of China's leading online sports and recreational game operators and is widely known and recognised as a distributor of quality prepaid cards through retail kiosks and Internet cafes. Its J-cards, which are currently marketed for around 30 different online games, are re-loadable online and the company's wide network of promotional websites represents a powerful and effective marketing forum."
